National Women's Leadership Conference

The original purpose of ABWA's national conference was to serve as a site for the Association's Annual Meeting and the election of national officers. These are still at the center of the agenda, but activities scheduled during the several days of a conference have expanded as the interests and needs of the ABWA membership have grown.

Today, the agenda includes well-known keynote speakers, popular entertainers, the presentation of awards and even time to enjoy the attractions of some of America's most exciting cities. But beyond these enjoyable and important opportunities is what lies at the core of ABWA: professional development and networking.

A variety of seminars and professional development courses are offered at the national conference, including courses aimed specifically at entrepreneurs. ABWA-KU MBA Essentials and ABWA-KU Management Certificate Series classes are available, as are programs developed and acquired through ABWA's powerful strategic alliances. Many qualify for contact hours and/or CEUs.
